Account
Hyive users can request account deletion and removal of personal data tied to their account.

Signed-in users can open Account settings, request a deletion code at their verified email address, enter the required confirmation, and acknowledge permanent deletion.
If your account uses a password, Hyive may require your password in addition to the email deletion code. If you sign in through Google or another OAuth provider, you still need access to the verified email address connected to your Hyive account.
If you cannot sign in or the flow fails, email admin@hyive.com from the address linked to your Hyive account. Hyive may ask you to confirm control of the account before completing the request.
After confirmation, Hyive invalidates active sessions and starts background deletion processing. You should expect to be signed out and lose access to account-only features.
Hyive removes personal account data from live systems and deletes user-owned public media where the object is managed by Hyive storage. Some posts or comments may be deleted, while others may be replaced by content-free tombstones when needed to preserve another member's discussion context.
Draft moderation evidence may be removed, while submitted moderation evidence, backups, security logs, legal records, and limited operational records may remain where needed for security, abuse prevention, moderation, legal, or operational reasons.
